A rock carved into an image of a bison in the style of the Lascaux cave drawings. Is it a replica of a prehistoric artifact or the work of a modern artist inspired by the cave drawings of stone age artists?

Cats of this style were often found in Egyptian tombs. This one has holes in the ears for earrings, which were not available for this picture but have since been restored...and lost again. It also wears a necklace with a pendant. Cats were sacred to the Egyptian goddess Bastet, or Bast, daughter and wife of Ra, mother of Khensu and Maahes. Bastet was represented as a female figure with the head of a cat.

August Rodin called this and a similar piece he did: Creation or The Hand of God. It is not The Kiss though the figures appear to be kissing. The Kiss is a larger work which does not include the molding hand.

This stylized bust suggests George Bernard Shaw but it is unlabelled so we do not know its subject, title or artist. The plate on the base indicates the donor.

This bust of Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt is after an original by Gleb W. Derujinsky (1888 - 1975). Completed in 1920, it is now housed in Roosevelt's birthplace in New York City. The Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace National Historic Site is located at 28 East 20th Street, between Broadway and Park Avenue South. Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States, lived at this site from his birth on October 27, 1858 until he was 14 years old. The reconstructed house, built as a memorial after his death in 1919, contains five period rooms, two museum galleries and a small bookstore.

These photos appeared (uncredited) in the 1979 Yearbook. On the left is August Rodin's Cathedral; on the right is a bust of Shakespeare.
