BORROWING POLICYBORROWING POLICYBooks may be borrowed from the JHS library for a period of two weeks. Videos may be borrowed for a period of one night. Magazines and CD/ROMS may be borrowed for one week. Current magazines may not be circulated. All students and staff of JHS may borrow items from our library.
Late fines are charged for each day the item is overdue, excluding weekends and holidays. The late fine is currently five cents a day for all items. The late fine may be excused for extenuating circumstances. Please speak to the librarians with your concerns. When an item is overdue, letters are sent home to parents.
Please return all books when due! Because the library is a shared resource, with many people using the same books, when you return your books on time everyone benefits! If you happen to find a book belonging to JHS, please return it to us! ....Thanks!
